Saamy 2 To Roll Soon, Says Shibu Thameens

With the announcement of Saamy sequel by Vikram, there was a strong buzz among fans and they started counted days. However, with no update and announcement from the filmmakers, the reports of project being shelved was doing the rounds. Now, the producer Shibu Thameens has come out to clear the air.

“These are baseless rumours and I don’t know how to react to this at all. Saamy 2 is still on and Hari along with team are holding discussions regarding the film’s script. But, we haven’t finalised the cast and crew of the movie,” said the producer. A close member of the team confirmed that makers are close to making it roll, “We are fine-tuning the script and the film may go on floors from April 2017.”

Saamy 2 will once again be headed by Hari and music will be given by maestro Harris Jayaraj. Vikram has currently two flicks in his kitty, one with Gautham Menon amd the other with Vijay Chandar.
