Kamal Haasan’s trilingual Sabash Naidu has been in the news ever since it was announced. The team of the flick has experienced many unforeseen issues ever since the movie went on floors. The film which was earlier planned to release in 2016 was pushed to 2017 as Kamal Haasan ran into a lot of troubles like his fracturing of his legs, his partner Gautami leaving him and his brother Chandra Hassan's death to name a few.

But now it seems that audience will have to wait for the next year before they can watch the movie. We have heard that Kamal’s production company Raaj Kamal Film International will first complete the shooting of Haasan’s much anticipated project Viswaroopam 2 before starting with Sabash Naidu. The Ulaganayagan has himself taken the initiative to helm Sabash Naidu as Rajeev Kumar who was earlier approached to direct the film backed out because he fell ill.

The flick which is simultaneously shot in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi has Shruti Haasan, Brammanandam, Sourab Shukla and Manu Narayan in the lead. The father-daughter duo, Shruti and Kamal, will be seen working together for the first time. The team has completed a schedule in the USA and are back in Chennai.
