Sakshi Agarwal To Mark Her Hollywood Debut

Sakshi Agarwal, the model-turned-actress has been roped in for a Hollywood movie, titled Cherubs. The film will be produced under the banner, Chamblee Productions. Thanks to her four-month course which she took up at the esteemed acting school, Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute at LA, where she honed her acting skills. However, the actress has acclaimed the recognition of being the first south Indian actress to have done this course.

During a chat with the Deccan Chronicle, an energized Sakshi says, “Though I had already started working in films, I wanted to hone my acting skills further. I had heard about The Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute, which has produced several talented actresses like Uma Thurman and Scarlet Johansson. Bollywood diva Sridevi’s daughter Jhanvi Kapoor, Imran Khan and Ranbir Kapoor were also alumni of this institute.”

In the film, Sakshi is essaying the role of an Indian girl. The film is likely to go on floors in May. Presently, she is engaged in wrapping up the shoot of Jaikira Kuthirai, which stars Jeevan in the lead.
