Samantha to Play Natasha in Bangalore Days’ Tamil Remake?

It seems like fans do not have to wait for long to witness Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s next performance. According to sources, the Anjaan star will be seen playing Nithya Menen’s role in the Tamil remake of Bangalore Days. Previously, she denied her presence in the film through a tweet saying, “I am not acting in the remake of 'Bangalore Days'”. 

Bangalore Days is a Malayalam movie about three cousins from Kerala who set out to fulfil their dreams. It was written and directed by Anjali Menon, and produced by Anwar Rasheed and Sophia Paul under the banners of Anwar Rasheed Entertainment and Weekend Blockbusters. The movie grossed Rs. 50 crore, which made it the highest-grossing film of 2014.  

Samantha is known for her roles in movies like Eega, Kaththi, Ye Maaya Chesave and S/O Satyamurthy. She has several awards in her kitty including, Best Female Debut at the CineMAA Awards and 58th Filmfare Awards South for her movie Ye Maaya Chesave. She also won Best Actress for her movie Attarintiki Daredi at Margadarsi Big Telugu Entertainment Awards and 3rd South Indian International Movie Awards.
