Sampath roped in for Thoonga Vanam

The Rajesh directorial Thoonga Vanam starring Kamal Hasaan, Trisha, Prakash Raj and many more top actors, has recently roped in Sampath Kumar for a crucial role. The versatile actor will be joining the shot from June 8 in Hyderabad. Sampath is really excited to share the screen space with such renowned actors.

The Burma actor said, “For me, it will be like going to an institution. I am extremely happy to be sharing screen space with him. When director Rajesh approached me for the role, the first question that I asked him was where do I have space in this film? With two legends - Kamal Haasan and Prakash Raj - working on this project, I wanted to know the depth of my character”.

“But then Rajesh, who really liked my work in Aaranya Kaandam, told me he has given me an interesting role. And now, I am thoroughly excited about shooting for a Kollywood film after a long time,” he added. Sampath has a splendid line up for Telugu films as well.
