Sampath Will Share Screen Space With Rajinikanth In 'Kaala'

Actor Sampath was away from the limelight for some time now. However, now the actor has bagged a role in one of the most awaited movies. Sampath has been approached for a role in Pa.Ranjith’s upcoming film titled 'Kaala' which also stars Rajinikanth.

Picture of the actor with Rajnikanth also started making rounds few days ago on Twitter. When asked about why he is not seen in films, Sampath said, “I have not been doing much in Tamil for the past few years, but that is not a conscious decision. I got busy with Telugu. From the start of my career, I have been keen on choosing only quality films and roles. So, lately the roles I have been getting in Tamil were not those projects I would jump for. However, I would like to see myself more in Tamil. That’s my priority because here is where I started my journey from.”

When quizzed about his role in 'Kaala', Sampath just called it ‘interesting’ without divulging any additional details. He also said that he had a great time working with megastar Rajinkanth in the film. He will have few scenes with Rajini in the flick. Apart from 'kaala', Sampath will also be seen in 'Sakka Podu Podu Raja' alongside Santhanam and Venkat Prabhu’s production venture 'RK Nagar'. He also has quite a few Telugu movies including the ones with Ravi Teja and Pawan Kalyan in his kitty.
