Samuthirakani to Star Alongside Vijay Sethupathi in Nalan Kumarasamy’s Next

Nalan Kumarasamy’s upcoming film, starring Vijay Sethupathi, features Samuthirakani in an essential role. Newbie Madonna Sebastian was roped in to play the female lead opposite Sethupathi. Nalan is known for his debut film Soodhu Kavvum, which gave a glimpse of the director’s potential.

According to reports, shooting for the film has been completed and it is currently in the post production stage. It is also said that the flick is a romantic comedy. Leo John Paul is currently busy editing the film in order to give it the desired shape. Recently, the shoot of a song involving Vijay and Madonna got cancelled. The song was choreographed by Brinda. 

The yet-to-be-titled film is planned for a September release. Dinesh Krishnan is responsible for cinematography and Santhosh Narayanan has designed the melodies for the flick. Art director Kiran will also act in the movie.
