Samuthirakani To Turn A Baddie For Priyadarshini’s Next

Actor Samuthirakani may once again play an antagonist for Priyadarshini. Yes, the actor might work with the filmmaker again in his yet-to-titled Tamil remake of National Award winning Malayalam film 'Maheshinte Prathikaaram'. He has earlier played a villain in Priyadarshan's Malayalam thriller 'Oppam.

“Samuthirakani is in talks for the project. Priyadarshan really liked his work in 'Oppam', and is keen to sign him again. He is yet to officially sign on the dotted line as he is figuring out his dates," revealed a source close to the film’s unit. It is not the first time that Priyadarshini is making a remake of any film.

Udhayanidhi Stalin has been roped in to play the lead which was essayed by Fahadh Faasil in the original. It is being reported that Priyadarshini will make some changes in 'Maheshinte Prathikaaram' as per Tamil sensibilities. The makers are yet to finalise the rest of the cast and crew.
