Samuthirakani-Vikranth’s ‘Thondan’ To Kick Off Soon

Actor-director P Samuthirakani was bestowed with the National Film Award for Best Supporting Actor in the Kollywood docu-drama crime thriller ‘Visaranai’ this year. It’s a known fact that the actor’s upcoming movie with Vikranth is titled ‘Thondan’. The film will be produced by R. Manikandan under the banner Vasundara Devi Cine Films.

The latest we hear about ‘Thondan’ is that the flick will start rolling from December 16 and is likely to be a quickie. The movie was launched on December 9. It looks like a busy schedule for Vikranth as his another flick ‘Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu 2’, which is the sequel to filmmaker Suseenthiran’s debut flick, went on floors on December 10. Selvasekaran, a former associate of Suseenthiran, will be wielding the megaphone for the sequel. The script will be penned by Suseenthiran.

On a related note, ‘Thondan’ also stars Soori, Kanja Karuppu, Thambi Ramaiah, and Namo Narayanan in the cast. Richard M Nathan has wielded the camera for the upcoming movie. The musical tunes have been rendered by Justin Prabhakaran and A.L. Ramesh has handled the editing work.
