After working in more than 500 movies in all the languages of south, actress Sana is now trying her luck in television. She will be starring in a mega soap which will be aired on a Tamil satellite channel. The actress, who impressed everyone with her negative role in Vikram starrer Rajapaattai, talks about venturing into television.

In an interview with Deccan Chronicle, Sana said, “After Rajapaattai, I did films like Vajram and Enakku Veru engum Kilaigal Kidayaadhu sharing screen space with Gaundamani sir. Though, I was getting several offers in Tamil, they were sort of repetitive and I didn't want to be typecast.” She also said that she is up for all the kinds of roles, whether they are strong supporting characters, (female) villain roles or even comedy.

“I was listening to scripts when this mega soap on a prime channel came up. I was floored when the script was narrated. I essay a mother who is the central character in the serial. It's a strong and power packed role. How she sets an example to others while guiding the family members in right direction, how to handle crisis forms and how she sacrifices for the family are all dealt with. It’s a solid role and I am sure I would be reaching the members of entire family with this soulful role,” she said.
