Sanchita To Star In Kollywood Remake Of Johnny Gaddaar!

Bollywood movie Johnny Gaddaar was a smash hit on the box-office. The movie starred Neil Nitin Mukesh in the lead role. Rumour is that the movie will be remade in Tamil and will be titled as ‘Johnny’.

Actor Prasanth will be portraying the role of Johnny alongside Rum star Sanchita Shetty as the lead actress. On being asked about the movie, Sanjana was quoted as saying, "The Hindi version was a hit and when I was approached for this film, I took it up as the female character has a solid role. I recently watched the original and will be giving my own twist to the role in its remake. I have already begun shooting for my portions and will wind up my portions by the end of this month".

The movie also stars Prabhu, Sayaji Shinde, Ashutosh Rana and Devadarshini. ‘Johnny’ is bankrolled by Prashanth's father Thiagarajan.
