Sandakozhi 2 To Start Rolling Soon

Actor Vishal must be on cloud nine as his landmark film Sandakozhi 2 has officially started. The movie is a sequel of 2005 action film Sandakozhi. Lingusamy, who directed the first part and was having a low profile for the past few days, will return to direct the sequel.

The pre-production of the film was started recently. Actress Keerthy Suresh has been roped in to romance Vishal. Apart from Vishal and Keerthy, the flick will also feature Varalaxmi  Sarathkumar who will be seen in a prominent role.

Moreover, the film will have veteran actor Raj Kiran, who was also seen in the first part. Art director Rajeevan has recreated the city of Madurai at the 10-acre land at Binny Mills in Chennai. A huge set which bears a resemblance to Madurai’s one of the key localities with 500 shops and a temple is being erected. Sandakozhi 2 which is produced by VFF banner will go on floors from August 31.
