Santhanam And Amyra Dastur To Entertain Audience In Odi Odi Uzhaikkanum

His previous film with Santhanam was a hit and now director Manikandan is back to enthral audience again with another comic caper titled Odi Odi Uzhaikkanum. The movie will feature Santhanam and Amyra Dastur in the lead. This will Amyra’s second Tamil movie. Her debut Kollywood movie was Anegan which also starred Dhanush.

The shooting of the film is going on in full swing. In fact, few days back when the team was shooting for a song composed by Ghibran in Chennai at the Semmozhi Public Park, a huge crowd gathered at the place. The uncontrollable crowd caused trouble for the team.

Speaking to Deccan Chronicle, director Manikandan said, “There was a huge crowd and they were trying to get a glimpse of Amrya and Santhanam sir. Actually, it was not a song, but a college setting where Amrya rehearses for culturals along with her friends at the amphitheater. Amrya then suddenly breaks into dance for music that beams from a recorder.  Santhanam who passes by, enjoys her graceful dance from a distance.”

While Santhanam will essay the role of a cop, Amrya will be seen playing a college girl, Divya. Odi Odi Uzhaikkanum will be a mixture of action, comedy and emotions.
