Sarath Kumar and Napoleon To Reunite For A Film After 15 Years

Veteran actors Sarath Kumar and Napoleon came are all set to come together after a hiatus of 15 years for a forthcoming crime thriller Chennaiyil Oru Naal 2. The last time they both shared the screen was for Thenkasi Pattanam which released in 2002. Thenkasi Pattanam was a Tamil remake of a Malayalam movie Chennaiyil Oru Naal 2.

“The film is based on the crime-thriller novel by popular writer Rajesh kumar. Sarath sir will play a spy agent. We have already started shooting his portions in Coimbatore,” said movie’s director JPR. Though the flick is not a sequel of the super hit Thenkasi Pattanam, however, the makers said that they chose the title because of its genre.

The makers have also roped in Suhasini Mani Ratnam to play a prominent role in the film. This is the first time that Suhasini will be sharing screen space with Sarath Kumar. Besides, Munishkanth and Baby Sathanya of Nishabdham fame have been approached to play supporting roles.
