Sashikanth Announces New Project Thamizh Padam 2.O With Two Female Leads

Vikram Vedha producer Sashikanth, who produced the 2010 flick ‘Thamizh Padam’, has now announced that he will be working on the sequel that has been titled ‘Thamizh Padam 2.O’. He will once again be teaming up with C.S. Amudhan who will be directing the sequel, just like the original. The project will also bring back Shiva and Disha Pandey.

Talking about the film, Sashikanth shared, “The first part had an open end indicating a sequel to it. This is also a spoof genre with a different take. And Amudhan was working on the script for the past one year. The film will have loads of fun and entertainment”. He also revealed that Aishwarya Menon and Sathish will be joining the cast as well.

‘Thamizh Padam 2.O’ will also bring back Kannan as the composer and Gopi Amarnath as the cinematographer. Sashikanth was also asked why he chose to name his film in a similar fashion to ‘2.0’ and he said, “There’s a reason to it and it will be justified when you watch the movie”. Currently, the project does not have a release date but official announcements are expected to come.
