Sasi Opens Up About Pitchaikaran

The title for the upcoming Vijay Antony starrer, Pitchaikaran, has left everyone wondering what the film is about. Finally, director Sasi has opened up about the plot of the film, speaking to City Express. He revealed, “Actually, it’s the story of a millionaire. At one point, the protagonist had to beg and what he learns then transforms him”.

Sasi stated that an article in a magazine inspired him to make this movie. The director also revealed that he has not written the script for the hero in the movie saying, “No, I don’t write scripts for heroes. I have never done that nor will I do it hereafter. I finished this script and was looking for someone to play a crorepati when I realised that Vijay Antony would be apt for this role. So, we approached him and that was how it all started”.

Vijay Antony will share screen space with Satna Titus. Vijay himself suggested Satna’s name for the part and director Sasi found the perfect character in her. “She plays an entrepreneur, who has completed MBA and is running a pizza shop”, Sasi said. There is still a lot that is unknown about the film which makes it even more exciting.
