Sasikumar Wraps Up Asura Vadham

Sasikumar, who was shooting for Asura Vadham, has wrapped up and has begun shooting for Naadodigal 2, which will be directed by Samuthirakani. Asura Vadham will be helmed by M Marudhupandian, who is known for directing Chennai Ungalai Anbudan Varaverkirathu. The film is believed to be an action thriller which is set against a semi-town backdrop.

"Everyone has been asking me when I began shooting for the film. We were shooting in Dindigul and Kodaikanal for the past few weeks, day and night. In fact, it was quite difficult for the workers to shoot in freezing cold in Kodaikanal in the night, but they did a great job, which is why we could finish shooting the film earlier than planned,” said the actor.

When asked about his character, the Thalaimuraigal actor said, "Well, that's the suspense factor in the film. But the story touches upon a social issue." Apart from Sasikumar, the movie will also feature Nandita, poet-turned-actor Vasumitra, who was seen in Kidaar, and some new faces. While SR Kathiir will crank the camera, Govind Menon will be composing the music.
