Young talent Satish Ramakrishnan, is all set to jump into the waters of direction. The MBA graduate and a martial arts specialist, is planning to make a movie on an untouched subject. The project has been named Tamizhananaen, in which the maker explores the age-old Tamil martial arts, namely Varman, Silambam and Kuthu Varisai.

“I am passionate about the ancient Tamil martial arts, which are going extinct and was researching them. I got the opportunity to meet Hollywood animator Samy Fecih, who has worked in films like Avatar, Iron Man and the Harry Potter series. He is also a master in Capoeira, a Brazilian martial art that combines elements of dance, acrobatics and music. He also plays a crucial role”, revealed Satish.

He added, “With crimes against women increasing day-by-day, I have made my script keeping self-defence in mind.” As per Satish, the film has all the ingredients for proper commercial cinema with an interesting aspect embedded in it.
