Sattiraju Laxmi Narayana honoured as Vishwa Vikyata Dharshaka Maharishi

It was industrialist-politician T. Subbarami Reddy’s “TSR” birthday and like every year, a member from the film fraternity was to be honoured by him. This year the veteran Telugu director Bapu alias Sattiraju Laxmi Narayana was the person who was honoured by TSR on the big day with theVishwa Vikyata Dharshaka Maharishiaward.

The Filmfare Award winner Bapu said at the event, "I'm extremely blessed to have received this honour. I will cherish this moment forever.” Formerly, Shabana Azmi, Javed Akhtar, Sunil Dutt, and P. Suseela were among the lucky few who got special awards from TSR on his birthday. Bapu was presented the award by Telugu filmmaker K. Vishwanath in the presence of some top personalities like D. Rama Naidu, Manchu Mohan Babu, Archana and Poonam Kaur.
