Sequel Of 'Theri' To Go On Floors Post ‘Vijay 60’?

Vijay is basking in the success of ‘Theri’ which stormed the box office when it released on April 14. The film did a fabulous business at the box office and it also managed to perform overseas. The success of the film has now fumed the rumours about its sequel.

Speculations are rife that the second instalment is likely to go on floors once Vijay wraps up his 60^th film ‘Vijay 60’. Director Atlee had said that the possibility of the sequel will depend upon the success of ‘Theri’. Now that the film has been declared as a blockbuster, the director might reunite with the Puli star for the sequel.

If the second part does get materialized, then Vijay’s daughter Divya, who did make an appearance in the first part, will play a full fledged role in the film. A source to the actor ecently revealed, "The second part will revolve around actor Vijay and his relationship with his daughter, who will, to keep the continuity alive, be more grown up. Vijay's real-life daughter, Divya, will play his reel-life daughter in the sequel, too".  The fans would be hoping that the director does come up with a sequel.
