Shankar Talks About His Movie '2.0'

Not only the Kollywood fans are waiting for the release of the superstar Rajinikanth starrer ‘2.0’. The whole country is waiting for the movie’s release. The movie also stars Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson.

The team is currently promoting their upcoming movie at a grand press meet in Dubai. The movie will has been termed as a science-socio-fiction-thriller by the director of the movie. Shankar, who is the director of the movie was quoted as saying, “The premise is new, the message is new, format is new and doesn't look Indian movies and it looks like Hollywood movie”.

Akshay Kumar, who is the antagonist of the movie, was quoted as saying, “2.0 is not a Tamil film, it's an Indian film”. The team also stated that the upcoming sequel has been made with a perspective of a stand-alone movie and has not been made for the sake of making a sequel of ‘Endhiran’.
