Shiva-Santhanam to play an inning as Dhoni-Sehwag in YaYa

You must be wondering what is Indian cricket team captain MS Dhoni and star opener Sehwag have to do with a film down there in South? Unwrapping the mystery behind this; the famous duo of Kollywood Shiva and Santhanam are to use the names of these two cricketers for their characters in the flick, YaYa. Shiva will be seen playing the character named Dhoni whereas Santhanam’s name would be Sehwag in the film.

The duo has worked together in three films before YaYa and this will be the fourth time when we will see them on the big screen. Though Shiva has revealed that the characters have nothing to do with the cricketers and said that, “I am playing a guy called Dhoni and Santhanam is Sehwag. There is no cricket connection, but when you watch the film, you will know why we have named the characters like that. Their names play a crucial part in the film.”

The duo intends to make you laugh in Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi's film, Vanakkam Chennai after YaYa.
