Shoot For Mani Ratnam’s Kaatru Veliyidai Completed

OK Kanmani became something of a greatest-hits package of Mani Ratnam. The romantic flick released last year and was a huge hit. Mani Ratnam is once again grabbing headlines for his upcoming film post OK Kanmani. His upcoming next movie is also a romantic one and is expected to be a hit like his earlier one.

The director was busy working on his next directorial venture, Kaatru Veliyidai, with Karthi and Aditi Rao Hydari. If reports are to be believed, the team has wrapped up the shoot and the film has now entered the post-production stage. Kaatru Veliyidai has been written, directed and bankrolled by Mani Ratnam.

Sources further added that if things go as planned, Kaatru Veliyidai will hit theatres in March 2017. In the film, Aditi plays a doctor while Karthi will be seen playing the role of a pilot. Well, no points for guessing that AR Rahman will compose the music for the flick.
