Know which Tamil Movie Got Its Hindi Dubbing Rights Sold for the Highest amount ever

It has been proved that Tamil superstar Vijay Ilayathalapathy is highly reputed and heavily relied upon by the distributors and producers. Vijay’s upcoming flick ‘Vijay 61’ is currently being shot in Poland for specific scenes involving Vijay and Kajal Agarwal.

 In spite of this, it has been learned that the Hindi dubbing rights for satellite telecast has already been bought for INR 11 Crores which is the highest amount for any Tamil movie till now. This shows the amount of reputation the Tamil actor has created for himself in the film industry. Ilayathalapathy is playing triple roles in ‘Vijay 61’, one being a village leader with Nithiya Menen as his wife and the other two, his sons. One of the younger Vijay plays a doctor with Kajal Agarwal as his pair while the elder one is playing a magician with Samantha Ruth Prabhu as his love interest.    

The rest of the star cast includes S. J. Surya, Vadivelu, Sathyaraj, Kovai Sarala and Sathyan. The music of the movie is composed by A. R. Rahman. The movie is penned by K V Vijayendra Prasad helmed by Atlee Kumar and bankrolled by Thenandal Studios. The movie is expected to hit the theatres during Diwali this year.
