Shooting Starts For MGR’s Biopic

The shooting of MGR, a film which is based on the life of former Chief Minister and AIADMK leader has officially begun!  The film is being directed by none other than A Balakrishna, who had earlier directed the biopic Kamaraj in 2004. Well, we can’t wait for the movie to hit the theatres.

Speaking about the movie, Balakrishna said that it will trace the life of the famous politician M G Ramachandran right from his childhood to his final days. "The film will cover events related to his days as a member of the Congress party, his meeting with mentor C N Annadurai and events that led to his quitting the DMK." The movie will also contain the controversial shooting incident involving co-star MRRadha.

Satish Kumar, who will be playing the role of MGR in the movie, is undergoing training in martial arts right now. For the director, Satish was the ideal choice due to his resemblance to the politician. Film director Stanley will also be a part of the upcoming project as the DMK founder. Well, Desi Martini wishes the cast all the best for the project and hopes that it becomes a big hit in the movie industry!
