Shriya Saran Bags Karthick Naren’s Naragasooran

Tamil beauty Shriya Saran who is known for her glamorous performances and excellent dancing skills has been away from Kollywood for the past three years. While she was seen in Telugu movies, but was out of the way from Tamil cinema. However, the actress has announced that she would be a part of STR’s Anbanavan Asaradhavan Adangathavan which is helmed by Adhik.

And now we have heard that the 34-year-old star has been approached to play a vital role in Naragasooran. The movie directed by Karthick Naren will feature Arvind Swami also. Earlier it was announced that Telugu actor, Naga Chaitanya, will make his Kollywood debut with Naragasooran. But the actor backed out from the project citing date issues.

A source close to the team says, “Naragasooran has an intense subject and Shriya will be portraying a pivotal character. In addition to them, actor Prithviraj’s elder brother, Indrajith Sukumaran, is also part of the movie. Shoot of this venture will begin in early August.”
