Shruti Haasan No Longer A Part Of Sangamithra

We all were eagerly waiting to see the fierce Shruti Haasan in Sangamithra. Moreover, actress’ rigorous training in sword fighting in London under a professional for her role added much to fans’ excitement. But now what may come shocking to you is that the actress is no longer the part of the movie.

Well, even we were surprised when we heard the news. The production house confirmed the same saying that they are no longer working with the actress. Shri Thendral Films, the producers of the film, took to their account to confirmed about the same. “Due to unavoidable circumstances, we are unable to proceed working with Shruti Haasan in Sangamithra,” they posted.

Even Shruti who was set to play the titular role issued a statement telling that she will not be working in Sangamithra. “Unfortunately, Shruti had to take a call not to be part of Sangamithra. Knowing it was a massive undertaking and a long commitment spanning over 2 years, she knew the importance of her training, a comprehensive script and proper date calendar. She hired and started training with one of best combat trainers April onwards to make sure she was ready in time for the shoot. Despite her enthusiasm and commitment to Sangamithra, she has had to give the film a miss since she had not received a proper bound script or nor a proper date calendar. She is currently caught up with promoting her film Behen Hogi Teri, prep for Sabaash Naidu and her musical associations,” her official press statement read.
