Chennai -- Despite her recently released film Gabbar Singh is doing very good business at the box office, actress Shruti Haasan doesnt want to limit herself to the South Indian film industry only and has shifted her base to Mumbai. According to reports, the actress wants to make it big in Bollywood also, however her previous Hindi films Luck and Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji had failed to make any mark in the industry. The actress, whose mother Sarika is already living in Mumbai, said, "From now on, Mumbai will be my home. I have rented a place of my own in Bandra. Although Im currently living on rent, I plan to buy an apartment soon. But this doesnt mean that I will stop working in Tamil-Telugu films." She said, I have studied in Mumbai for a year and lived here for four years, so I am quite comfortable here. I have got myself a pad in Bandra, I guess I am a Bandra girl now. Talking about her role in Dabangg remake Gabbar Singh, she said, I play a village belle in the film and a lot has been changed and altered. I saw Dabangg and totally loved it and when we were doing the remake I had an inkling that the film would do well. The actress wants to juggle Bollywood films with those in the South in the future. Films are films, irrespective of the language. I want to do good work and that is what I am here for, she says.
