Shruti Haasan Shares Experience Of Acting Under Kamal Haasan’s Direction

Shruti Haasan has been dealing with a hectic schedule these days. The actress has been busy shooting for Telugu remake of ‘Premam’ and has also completed the first schedule of her father Kamal Haasan’s film ‘Sabaash Naidu’. She recently flew back to Chennai from Los Angeles after shooting for a major chunk of the film.

The Puli actress shared her experience of acting under the direction of her father. She said, "It was wonderful to work under appa's direction. It was quite unexpected at first, but it worked out beautifully. It was inspiring to see his commitment, especially wearing prosthetics for his character, and taking on both roles — that of a director and an actor”.

Shruti also cleared that she is not playing a dancer in the trilingual comedy-adventure film. She added that the flick will have a major dance sequence which has been choreographed by Jamal Sims of Step Up fame. The venture will also feature Brahmanandam and Ramya Krishnan and it is slated for a December 1 release.
