    Siddharth Reacts On Thalapathy 62's Shooting During Strike

    Kollywood star Siddharth is known to have starred in movies such as Enakkul Oruvan, Aranmanai 2 and Jigarthanda. The star was last seen in the movie Aval. As it is known that the Kollywood industry has been shut down since March 16 due to a strike by the Tamil Film Producers Council.



    According to news published on timesofindia.indiatimes.com, some movies such as Thalapathy 62 have been permitted to continue the shooting of the movie. Regarding such as permission given to a movie, Siddharth tweeted, “Every single film is an equal challenge in today's brutal cinema marketplace. If these special permissions to shoot are given to one, please give them to all producers. We are all the same. In the absence of equality and unity, god save us. #TamilCinema #Strike”.



    His tweet further read as, “This TN govt. does not and will not care about cinema. They have proved that for a decade. It will take a miracle for them to suddenly turn around and change that. Revamping the industry is needed, but at what cost? Let the industry show unity first. Then change will follow”. The actor will be next seen in the Kollywood movie   ‘Shaitan Ka Bachcha’.
