Chennai is a city that admires sports and cinema. It has great fan following and with growing buzz of football in the country, the city is excelling in that department as well. However, there is also a relatively new sport Floorball, which is gaining popularity. Recently, this international sport got a Kollywood connection when famous music composer Siddharth Vipin as the president of the Tamil Nadu Floorball. Association.

"We know so much about other games, but floorball is relatively new. It is fun to play and is recognised internationally. Our association is a new one and my duty as a president will be to promote the game and create awareness about the game. As of now, Tamil Nadu is ranked as one of the top five teams playing this game in the country, with Delhi being at the top", said Siddharth.

He also added that there is growing interest among schools as well to introduce Floorball in their co-curriculum activities. Siddharth said that his only objective will be to promote and expand sport in the region, which is always open to exploring new pursuit.
