Sila Samayangalil Honoured With Three More Awards

Priyadarshan’s Sila Samayangalil is getting critically acclaim worldwide. The flick has a sensitive storyline, which walks you through the lives of people who are waiting the result of their HIV test. Now, the movie has bagged not less than three awards at a recent ceremony.

Sila Samayangalil won for Best Film with a Global Message, Best Upcoming Release and the overall Best film from the Asian Continent award. The flick portrays Prakash Raj in the lead role with Ashok Selvan and Sriya Reddy in other crucial characters. The movie was honoured at the Jaipur International Film Festival.

Sila Samayangalil is being jointly produced by Isari Ganesh, A. L. Vijay and Prabhu Deva. The music in the flick is given by veteran composer Ilaiyaraaja and the camera is cranked by Sameer Thahir. Sila Samayangalil is expected to hit cinemas very soon. The flick even made it to final round of 74th Golden Globe Awards.
