Silambarasan Could Face Three Years Of Imprisonment For ‘Beep Song’

Silambarasan has been haunted long by the ‘Beep Song’ controversy. The song allegedly sung by the actor and composed by young music sensation Anirudh Ravichander was leaked online in December, 2015. It looked like Simbu was spared from the trouble, but the song is back to trouble him.

According to reports, the High Court has ordered the Vaalu actor to present himself in front of Race Course Police station in Coimbatore on February 24. His lawyer revealed that if charges against the actor are proved, then he may be sentenced to jail for 3 years. However, all the charges against the actor are bailable.

The lawyer of the Action 3D shared that original version of the song may be released if required. Also he appealed the police officials to arrest the people who have leaded a portion of the song. We will have to wait and see whether the actor will be charged with imprisonment or will come out innocent.
