Silambarasan’s ‘Idhu Namma Aalu’ Might Be Postponed To May 27

Movie buffs have been eagerly waiting for Silambarasan’s upcoming film ‘Idhu Namma Aalu’. The film has faced repeated postponements in the past and the makers recently locked May 20 as the release date. However, rumours are doing the rounds that the film might once again be postponed.

Reports suggest that the Pandiraj directorial has not got the tax exemption yet. It will complete the process soon and it might now hit the theatre screens on May 27. Sources close to the film’s unit reveal that because of the state elections that took place today, the makers felt that May 20 was not an ideal date for release.

    T. Rajendar has produced the romantic comedy film jointly with Usha Rajendar. Nayantara plays the female lead in the film which has Andrea Jeremiah as the other female lead. Simbu’s younger brother T. R. Kuralarasan has scored for the movie, which will hopefully hit the screens on May 27.
