Simbu clears the air about his film with Gautham Menon

Reports have been doing rounds that Gautham Menon’s film Sattendru Maraathu Vaanilai, starring Simbu as the male lead, has been shelved. But the lead actor refuted all such reports saying the project has been postponed for a while as the filmmaker is focussing on his project with Thala Ajith now.

The film’s shooting started for a few days and then it stopped for some unknown reasons. Simbu clarified, "My project with Gautham is very much on. We started shooting and had to stop because Gautham had a commitment with Ajith that came and he had to complete it. Therefore, we've put on shooting on hold and as soon as we are good to go, we'll start filming again." After the highly successful Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa, Simbu and Menon are joining hands for the second time. Presently Simbu is busy filming Idhu Namma Aalu along with actress Nayantara.
