Simbu-Hansika Motwani starrer Vaalu to mark Ajith Kumar’s birthday

Director Vijay Chander’s upcoming movie Vaalu, starring Simbu, Hansika Motwani and Santhanam in the lead, is all set to hit the big screens on May 1 which also marks superstar Ajith Kumar’s birthday. It’s quite well-known that Simbu is a huge fan of Thala Ajith and to show his respect he has decided that he will release his much-awaited Vaalu on the same day.

S. Thaman has composed the music for the film and the audio of Vaalu is due to launch on February 14 marking Valentine’s Day. Vaalu is an out-and-out love story which revolves around a youngster who is a resident of railway quarters. Being produced by NIC Arts Vaalu is touted to be a thorough entertainer. Simbu was last seen in a leading role in the 2012-film Podaa Podi opposite Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and in 2013 he had no major releases except a cameo in Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiya. A lot more films are awaited from Simbu in the pipeline including an untitled project by Pandiraj, Sattendru Maaruthu Vaanilai, Vettai Mannan and an untitled Selvaraghavan project.
