Simbu to play a cameo in Dhanush’s flick

Versatile actor Dhanush is going to have Simbu touch in his next. The30-year-old star, who is co-producing a project entitledKakka Muttai, is doing everything possible to make it a hit. Recently it was learnt that the actor approached Simbu to do a cameo in his next. A source from film unit revealed, "Manikandan told Dhanush that he would like to have Simbu on board for a special role, and the actor assured him that he could get him on board. Dhanush himself called up Simbu to talk about this guest role and the latter accepted the offer immediately. As promised, Simbu shot for a few scenes for the film in the city recently."

This film is jointly produced by Dhanush's Wunderbar Films and Vetrimaaran's Grass Root Films. The film produced by debutant Manikandan is on the life of kids dwelling in slums. The director stamped the news of Simbu’s involvement in the project, "Yes, Simbu has done a guest appearance in the film." The film will have songs scored by G. V. Prakash. Kakka Muttai is likely to release by end of this year.
