Simbu Settles The Dust On Cauvery Controversial Statement

With ongoing Cauvery issue, many celebrities have urged people from both the states to maintain peace and trust in their government. However, few of them are also targeted by bogus comments and statements in media. The most recent being Silambarasan, who allegedly had called off his movie release in Karnataka over attack on Tamilians in the state, several reports suggested.

 “I have not made or given any statement on this issue. This is an issue between two states, and not a platform for artistes to engage in propaganda or take lightly. The elected leaders of both states with the support of the judiciary will provide us a solution”, clarified Simbu.

Achcham Yenbathu Madamaiyada is actor’s next flick under the direction of Gautham Menon. The star added that one thing all we can do is pray for better rain this monsoon for both states. Silambarasan felt that people should not compromise on their peaceful co-existence of several years over the issue and together we can come over this crisis, his statement read.
