Simbu’s Idhu Namma Aalu Sold For Rs 60.90 Crore

Speculations are rife, that the theatrical rights of Silambarasan’s much awaited have been sold for a whopping sum. Reportedly, Thenandal films have acquired the rights of Idhu Namma Aalu. The Tamil romantic comedy has been directed by Pandiraj and stars actress Nayanthara in the female lead.

A source close to the film was reported as saying, “The TN theatrical rights have been procured for Rs 28.90 crores. The audio rights of the film have been bagged by T series for a sum of Rs 1.10 crore. The audio is likely to be released on February 3, which happens to be Simbu’s birthday”.

According to the reports, Idhu Namma Aalu’s overseas rights have also been sold. The source confirmed, “In all, the film has been sold for a sum of Rs 60.90 crores. This has made everybody close to the actor rejoice”. The movie is slated for a February 14 release.
