Sivakarthikeyan To Collaborate With Vignesh Shivan

After the success of Remo, Sivakarthikeyan signed Velaikkaran directed by Mohan Raja. The flick is based on food adulteration. After completing the shooting of Velaikkaran, Sivakarthikeyan will focus on his upcoming untitled movie which will be helmed by Ponram.

A few months ago, rumours were flashing that Sivakarthikeyan has been approached to play the lead in Sudha Kongara Prasad’s next movie. However, the project did not materialise. And now we have heard that the actor will be collaborating with his best friend-cum-director Vignesh Shivan for a film. Some unconfirmed reports have said that KE Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green will fund the project.

“Vignesh had a script Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kadhal ready even before Naanum Rowdy Dhaan began. Unfortunately, the film couldn’t take off at the point of time. It could be KRK that Siva and Vignesh are planning to do as their next. Work regarding this film will kick-start once Suriya’s Thaanaa Serndha Kootam has released,” said a source close to Vignesh.
