Soundararaja Gets A Role In Samuthirakani’s Next

Soundararaja had no second thought when he got an offer from Samuthirakani and immediately agreed to play the part. Making big with the success of Sundarapandian, the actor is presently working on couple of movies. He talked about his role and shared his excitement on shooting for his Kani sir.

“I was thrilled when Kani sir offered me a role in Thondan. Without asking what it was about, I just gave my nod, as I am a great fan of his movies. It was a dream come true for me. All I know is that it is a significant role and I essay a character with grey shades. Even a small character will stand out in Kani sir’s film, he writes such strong characters,” said Soundaraja.

He also talked about his close bonding with his Goundamani, who was his co star in Enakku Veru Engum Kilaigal Kidayadhu. “Although the film was released a few months back, Goundamani sir is in touch with me. He calls after 10 pm and asks about the happenings in my life, and discusses a lot of things including Nadigar Sangam.” Karthik also appreciated his sharp memory and ability to remember all previous conversations.
