Spanish Thriller Julia’s Eyes To Be Remade In Tamil And Telugu

Critically acclaimed Spanish thriller Julia’s Eyes is all set to be remade for Indian audiences. Popular Bollywood cinematographer Kabir Lal, who worked in films like Taal , Pardes , Apne , Michael Madhana Kama Rajan, is turning a filmmaker with the remake Julia’s Eyes. The movie was a box office hit collecting $20 million in Spain alone.

Talking about his debut venture, Kabir said, “Julia’s Eyes has an interesting screenplay and the story would go well with any type of audience. Having worked in many Telugu films as well like Andarivaadu, Bairava Deepam etc, I want to try my hand in Telugu and Tamil initially. Later, I might think of other languages”.

However, Kabir has not decided on whom he would cast in the coveted female-oriented script in a double role. Rumour has it that a big star who has a solid market in K’town as well as in Tollywood is being approached. Moreover, the movie is about a woman who is slowly losing her sight whilst trying to investigate the mysterious death of her already blind identical twin sister.
