S.R. Prabhakaran’s Next Has A New Title

Critically acclaimed director S.R. Prabhakaran who is widely known for his debut flick Sundarapandiyan is working on his next project. However, the movie had a title Mudi Sooda Mannan, which was announced in June, this year, but the filmmaker has changed it to Sathriyan. Prabhakaran went to his Twitter account to make the formal announcement.

Its lead characters will be played by Vikram Prabhu and Manjima Mohan. Talking about the interesting new title, one can recall that the title had been used for crime drama flick in year 1990, with Panneer Selvam playing the lead.

Reportedly, the team wanted to make the announcement on New Year, but someone leaked the news and even published the poster of the movie with the new title. Thus, the filmmaker had to come out and confirm the report. Sathriyan is being produced by Sathya Jyothi Films and is scheduled for mid year release in 2017.
