Actress Srushti Dange, who claimed recognition after her explicit performance in Dharmadurai, is gearing up for her upcoming film, Mupparimanam. The film has Shanthanu Bhagyaraj in the lead and Srushti Dange is playing the female lead. The actress is pinning hopes and seems quite confident that the content of the film will be the talk of the hour.

During a chat with the Deccan Chronicle, Srushti says, “Mupparimanam is all about the character — Kathir and Anusha. You can see them growing up on screen and the flick will portray different stages of their life — from their school life to their marriage. Since the character required me to act as a school student and as a grown-up, I had to perform accordingly to show the difference. Director Adhirooban wanted me to look natural and not to take references. He knows what he wants and has extracted the best out of me.”

The film is helmed by Athiroopan, a former assistant to Bala and GV Prakash Kumar has scored the music of the film. The trailer of the film has been released and it is said that actors Prabhu, Bhagyaraj, Pandiarajan, Bobby Simha, Prasanna, Arya, Ramya Krishnan, Janani Iyer, Radhika Sarathkumar and Sangeetha have come together for a promo song. Mupparimanam is slated to hit the theatre screens this year on March 2.
