Stunt Choreographer Jayanth Becomes A Filmmaker

Yet another stunt master in the Kollywood industry turns director. Stunt choreographer Jayanth, who has worked in more than 250 films as a stunt choreographer, has now turned a director. His directorial venture is titled Munthal.

Talking about the film, Jayanth said that it is an action movie based on extensive research to create social awareness among the public. It is a travel story which has been shot in seven countries and 49 locations. The flick will see debutant Appu Krishna as the male lead.

Jayanth said, “Though I started my film career as a stuntman, directing films was my long time dream, which has come true today. The hero comes to know of the formula to cure cancer, that was written 1000 years ago by siddhars on palm leaves, which is kept in a secured place and he goes in search of it. His intention is to give it to the government, so that it is available free for people. Meanwhile, a notorious gang also chases the formula for their benefit. What happens next is the crux”.
