Suja Varunee To Play A Gangster In Her Next

Suja Varunee’s patience of getting a good role has finally paid off. The actress who was determined of not doing any item numbers waited for six long years to get a good role in movies. Her role as a vamp, who seek to take revenge, in Sasikumar’s Kidaari got her into public’s eye.

Now the actress has been considered seriously. She has several films in Tamil and Malayalam in which she will get to play different roles. She has also been roped in to play a gangster in Sathru. “I know it was a tough period. Though many offers poured in for item songs, I never went back on my decision and turned them all down. In a way, it helped me reinvent myself,” said the 32-year-old.

She added, “For me, it is the character I play that is more important. Even if it is a small role, I don’t mind doing it, provided it is powerful. Money and other things comes later.” The actress has said that it doesn’t matter to her how long her character in the film is. She is ready to do even a single scene in a movie provided it creates a strong impact. However, the Appuchi Gramam actress is not ready for skin show even if she is offered a huge sum of money.
