    Sukumar Roped For Tamil Remake Of Arjun Reddy

    Cinematographer Sukumar, who has worked in many award winning films, has been roped in by director Bala for Tamil remake of Telugu film Arjun Reddy. The movie will mark Chiyaan Vikram’s son Dhruv Vikram’s entry into acting. The film is said to be romantic set in a medical background.

    Sukumar has been good friends with Bala for over two decades now. He worked as a photographer in Bala’s Nandha which starred Suriya and Laila. A source says, “Shooting of Arjun Reddy’s Tamil remake will commence sometime in January. Dhruv is taking his time to slip into the character of Arjun Reddy.”

    The source added, “Sukumar has been an integral part of Dhruv’s formative years and has seen him grow up into a handsome guy. It will be great to see them all together.” According to reports, both Vikram and Dhruv even met Vijay Deverakonda who played the titular role in the original and came to Chennai on Vikram’s request. Dhruv is learning all the nuances of his character.
