Sundar C. Opens Up About ‘Aranmanai 2’

Last month, Siddharth and Trish wrapped up their upcoming film ‘Aranmanai 2’. The team is now gearing up for the release of the film which will hit the screens on January 29. Everybody is excited to watch the sequel of the 2014 hit film.

The Sundar C. directorial will be little different from the usual horror flicks. The director opened up about the film and said, “The success of Aranmanai paved the way for this sequel. When people saw the film, many asked me if there was a sequel coming up even though I hadn't left any scenes hinting at a sequel. But then it struck me, what if I were to do one. While the basic formula is the same, the film is not a continuation of the first part".

Hansika Motwani, who was part of the prequel, will also be seen in the second instalment. The director said that he could not think of planning a sequel without the actress. He added that the third part is on the cards.
