‘Super Deluxe’ To Have A Premiere At Cannes

‘ Super Deluxe’ is one of the anticipated films of this year. The movie boasts an ensemble cast of Vijay Sethupathi , Fahadh Faasil, Samantha Akkineni, Mysskin and Ramya Krishnan. Ever since the makers released the first look of Vijay Sethupathi, fans are waiting with bated breath to watch the flick.

Vijay’s look in the movie has already created a quite a huge stir on social media. Vijay will essay the role of a transgender Shilpa in the film. And now we have heard that the film is likely to have a premiere at Cannes International Film Festival which will take place in May.

Filmmaker Mysskin, who is one of the writers of Super Deluxe, shared the information during a media interaction which took place recently. ‘Super Deluxe’ will be the second Kollywood project to have a premiere at Cannes. Vasanthabalan’s directorial ‘Veyil’, which released in 2006, was the first Kollywood movie to have a premiere at Cannes.

Thiagarajan Kumararaja, who made his directorial debut with the movie ‘Aaranya Kaandam’ in 2010, has helmed the movie. The shooting of the flick is currently going on and is expected to release in the second half this year.
