Superstar Rajinikanth Plays Gangster in His 159th Film

Superstar Rajinikanth’s 159^th film is a gangster film which is reportedly titled, Kabali. Director Pa. Ranjith will helm the project. Kabali is scheduled for release on September 17.

The flick is based on the real life of a don from Chennai. A source close to the team of the flick informed, “In the film, Rajini sir plays a character called Kabaleeshwaran, and the title ‘Kabali’ is derived from it. The story is based on a don from Mylapore in Chennai”.

The source added, “The initial few minutes of the film will be set in Mylapore, and then the story will shift to Malaysia”. The flick also features Radhika Apte, Dhansika and Kalaiarasan. Radhika Apte might play the role of Kabaleeshwaran’s wife, while Dhansika will be seen as playing his daughter.
